Of the Earth Collective pottery studio is my favorite place in the world As someone who entered as a complete beginner, I quickly found myself hooked. After taking my first ever class (!!!), I quickly transitioned to becoming a studio member. The teachers and owner are incredible, supportive, and give the best guidance while letting you foster your own creative flow. And what truly sets it apart is its community and atmosphere. Its provided something special that's hard to find in Seattle - people just wanting to connect and hang, meet new people, and explore creativity. I cant recommend it here enough!!

This is a wonderful studio space for learning ceramic arts. I started taking classes here a little over a year ago and absolutely fell in love with the vibe. The teachers are wonderful and patient. The space is beautiful and welcoming, full of light and love. The group of members here is full of creativity and talent-- you will learn so much from them. The studio also offers events for members and visitors. I highly recommend this studio if you are looking to try out pottery (hand building or wheel throwing), expand your skills, or join a community! I did a lot of shopping around when I was looking for a space to learn and I think that this is one of the best out there.

I took a couple of rounds of classes (with instructors Sam and Katie) and the vibe was so encouraging and warm. Its cool to learn from working artists! I also loved the space windows and plants and good lighting and signed up for a membership for a few months to have access to the studio any time. Of The Earth is doing great things and I appreciate having a studio in the south-ish end of the city. Highly recommend.
