Vi Hilbert Hall Apartments

The behavior in this apartment is truly frustrating. Despite being on a one-year contract, I had to leave early. However, when I sought answers from the office regarding my early departure, I received inconsistent responses. Another issue arises when it comes to settling the remaining fees. The balance owed is displayed without any breakdown, and the receipt only provides detailed information after the payment has been made. It's ironic how damages are claimed without any evidence being provided. Furthermore, the security deposit is turned to by a third party, but the procedures involved are overly complicated everywhere. As an international student without a social security code, registering an account is nearly impossible, which seems unreasonable. I want to refrain from questioning the behavior of your management, as my intention is solely to provide feedback on how I have been treated. While the apartment is not owned by Seattle University, I kindly request that you avoid casting any doubt on the relationship between Seattle University and its partners.

Management is a mess and will try to get you kicked out too get new leases when you are about to leave.

If you are SU student and not sure what your future plans look like, I personally dont recommend you to live here. Before moving in, I triple checked if I can move out as soon as I graduate and they said its possible. However its basically your responsibility to find a sublet and they will not give a list of people interested in your tenant. It looks like a university owned property but actually not, and they dont consider students situation at all.
