Just west of Parking Lot E16 is the entrance to a beautiful short marsh walk loop that takes you down to the lake on a planked sidewalk. Lots of marsh plants, birds Ive seen ducks and gulls, a pair of herons, and a variety of birds I cant label, as Im not a birder and when you get to the water there are frequently turtles sunning on logs and small fish jumping for insects, plus frogs singing their rivetting songs. Its worth going a minimum of four times, once per season, although more is better!
