        We had a "Planned Drop Off" scheduled for 9:30am. We were already frustrated with the lack of a decent time frame; we were just told it would be ready by closing time, and that we'd get a text when it was ready to be picked up. It's an hour from closing time as I write this, and we hadn't heard anything yet. My husband called to check up on it, as we have other things to do this evening, and were told we would be able to pick it up by closing. It wasn't even the physical store that answered, it's a call center. He was informed that they were running WAY behind, and our vehicle would be done AFTER closing time, and we'd still be able to pick it up. However, a specific time frame still wasn't offered. We still have no idea when we're supposed to be able to pick up our car. This is a terrible way to do business. We will not be using Safelite again in the future.

        safelite in silverdale washington has extremely poor customer service. i took my truck in for a water leak at the rear glass. they told me the gasket was leaking and i had to replace the whole glass at the same time as the gasket. cost was $680. after their repair i still had the leak in the same spot. it cost me another $620 to have the leak repaired at a professional leak repair shop. safelite refused to reimburse me and is denying a bad repair and misdiagnoses. i have bought many windshields from safelite and i probably will never use them again.

        Excellent customer service from start to finish. The tech, Erica, spent several minutes with me at the car going over the job and the care for the new windshield. I, for one, appreciate all of the reminders of my appointment. Great to see her and her manager succeeding in a typically male dominated job sector.
