Shane, Taraya and the entire Bay Equity team were quick, efficient and incredibly helpful and friendly. Shane is well versed in VA mortgages and refinancing and really helped counsel us to make the right decision for our refinance.

Definitely think twice before contacting this business, or prepare yourself for a lifetime of endless solicitations - for all eternity.  Many years ago we foolishly called and asked them a few questions about refinancing our home.  We ended up going through our bank instead (smart move).But our contact information will be forever burned into their whack ass soliciting departments harassment list, apparently.We regularly get unsolicited calls, voice-mails, text messages and emails from this group, regularly. We have never used this companies services, and never will.I have called (multiple times) and asked to be removed from their solicitor call list, I have replied "STOP" to unsubscribe from their middle of the night text messages, I have emailed them multiple times begging them to stop harrassing me.  It's of no use.  They will forever fill my voice-mail box with their fake/friendly pre-recorded garbage about how low interest rates are right now.If I ever need to refinance my mortgage or buy another property, it certainly won't be through these clowns.Zero stars.  Negative stars even.

Shane was very friendly, and not a high pressure salesman. The loan application was very easy to complete online.

My family has worked with Shane multiple times.  We had the most complicated purchase ever and we own a lot of properties.  Shane was able to come up with very complex solution to a wide variety of problems.  He consistantly thinks out of the box and for me that is worth so much more than what other teams I have worked with.  We have liked them so much that even though i have moved across the nation we still look to Shane and his team for further relationship building.  In this instance I was looking at doing a refinance or possibly selling and his advice was not the typical advice i would have thought i would have received.  He was straight on the points of why he loved my property and felt that keeping it forever would be my best option even if I didn't refinance it and I was seriously considering selling since it has almost doubled in value in the past 5 years.  I will be using their team again when possible.
