Inspired Beginnings: Birth. Redefined.

I cannot recommend this class enough! It was an incredible experience and we learned so much to prepare for the birth of our first child. It was so valuable to have an in-person experience, learn from a medical professional, have opportunities to ask questions and practice skills we will use during labor. My husband was a little hesitant about the class but after even the first session he was so glad we signed up. Sign up for this class - you won't regret it!

This was a great class, especially being a first time mom. I learned a lot about the birthing process and how to prepare my body for labor. We had several guest speakers come, such as a dietician and a pelvic floor specialist. I really enjoyed how comfortable Melissa made the whole class experience. She did a great job of answering any little question that myself or my husband had. I have already passed this class on to two of my friends and would recommend it to anyone who wants a great in person and hands on experience!

This course was such a blessing! Regardless of your birth setting and plan (or lack thereof), Melissa and the specialists she introduces to the class go above and beyond to insure that you are comfortable, your questions are answered, and you feel prepared for whatever pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood throw at you. Even simply getting to meet them you gain invaluable, passionate allies through the incredible and challenging journey you're on. Your relationship with them, if you choose, doesn't end with the course or even your pregnacy and that continued support gives such peace of mind. Knowledge is power and it is the most valuable tool you can arm yourself with. There is an immense amount of information readily available to us, in a way, too much so, but Melissa and this course accomplish the daunting task of weeding out the rubbish and highlighting the truly applicable. If you were like me and didn't know any other pregnant people, then this course is additionally wonderful in that respect as you meet other parents (new and seasoned) who are going through related experiences. This builds a real sense of community and connection that I feel is especially necessary during this time in your life. If you and your partner want to transition from feeling nervous, unprepared, or scared to feeling empowered, supported, and confident TAKE THIS COURSE!
