The Academy of Snohomish

I am a student attending this year. not the best school. the curriculum is all online, and I was looking for an actual teacher who was going to teach me. when you walk in the door every morning, you sit down at your cubicle and open a chrome book, at the end of the day you just leave. the teachers and staff don't do anything to help you if you're stuck. the environment is good with the kinds of people, but this school is definitely not worth $5k a year.

We are in our second year at The Academy. My kids are thriving, and learning so much academically, relationally, and spiritually. The staff is supportive, full of grace, daily praying for the student body and their families, and are all around wonderful. Its an incredible community to be a part of that blesses our family so much.

Our girls attended for second grade. We as a family are Christians but far from conservative. We definitely got a narrow minded, shelter your kids, culty vibe.

We are only in day two of attending The Academy of Snohomish... after only two days all three kids are learning SO MUCH MORE than I could have ever imagined. The teachers are engaged and so incredibly loving. The kids are learning big how to take notes, be accountable for themselves, be a goal make/keeper and sustain accountability like Ive never seen in the public school system. My daughter has failed multiple quizzes and is expected to correct each mistake on her own before continuing on... this is teaching my kids to learn and understand failing not as a negative thing but as something that will continue to encourage them to GROW! I am inspired by the teachers and the way that the program is being utilized to benefit our kids and can not imagine being anywhere else.
