Everybody here as mentioned is professional, helpful and sympathetic. My first experience was with Dr. Gruber who was top notch. He told me I wouldn't need surgery but an epidural would help me. Yesterday I had that done there and Dr. Sandhu could not have been any more kind, intelligent and thorough in explaining what was going to happen, and what to expect after the procedure. I think the name of the Nurse who assisted was Kelly? I can't remember, but she too, could not have been any more kind and helpful. A top notch medical business! Definitely first class.

I feel compeled to add my experience at Inland Neursurgery and Spine - My doctor has been following my spinal issues for at least 15 years. During that time he treated me not only fairly but beautifully. The staff is wonderful. When I have called and spoken to the nurse and appointment person for the doctor seeking either an appointment or asking a question they've either picked up their line or called me back promptly.I have nothing but kind words for the doctors in this practice.

let me start with my experience I have a condition called Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension basically I make too much CSF fluid this disease is majorly affecting my quality of life and I can go blind if it's not treated promptly I have already had vision deterioration. I have spent the last 3 months of desperation Trying to find a neurosurgeon to get a shunt placement. So I wait for the referral process only for them to tell me to "go find a neurosurgeon in Idaho." That is literally what the appointment scheduler told me and I highly doubt it's an insurance issue because my mom went there for her trigeminal neuropathy and she had no problem since she lives in Idaho and has the same insurance. I have major trust issues in regards to kootenai health in Couerd'alene and trusting them with my brain is a no go because if they mess up they will probably shift the blame on me like they usually do and I would be left more disabled than I already am. These people were cold callous and were fine to leave me in total agony and despair and apparently me potentially losing my eyesight isn't a good enough reason to be graced with their presence so it looks like I'm probably going to have to go all the way to Seattle at the University of Washington, that is if they don't reject me coldly like these people did. I shouldn't have to face potential blindness due to these people but that's the position they are leaving me with. I will try to talk to patient advocate services in providence sacred heart but I doubt it will do any good. Don't trust these people with your brain or spine because they will ditch you the very moment you need them the most.

Wow. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience! In contrast to your story, my husband and I have had a great experience with this office. I don't know what Dr. you used since you did not name them, but Dr. Hirschauer who we are working with has been great. We went through two other Drs. before settling on this office and they have been great to work with. They answer our questions, return our calls ussually the same day, and are very organized and prompt. They fill out insurance forms quickly and have taken very good care of us. My husband just had a double lumbar fusion, two and a half weeks ago and is doing so much better already. There are a good number of Dr.s at this office. So in my opinion, it is a bit unfair to judge the entire office on one Dr. although if what you say is true I most certainly would not want to be under the care of the Dr. you discribed.Although our reviews of this office are different, I definately agree that a person should always follow thier feelings especially when it concerns you or your families health. If it doesn't feel right, don't do it.
