UEI College - Tacoma

A current student here at UEI! Its an amazing experience. Working hands on and learning clinic skills is probably the best thing Ive ever did this year. I have instructor Wilson, shes the best at teaching. She teaches to where we can understand procedures and effectively learn. If youre looking into this. I definitely recommend if youre ready to put the work and time in.

Very rude call center that is trying to convince you to come in in any possible ways. They keep calling, making sure they put enough pressure on you to feel bad that youre not in the right spot right now to start studying. I was hang up on without saying anything like have a good day or good bye. Its not pleasant to talk to them and I personally have no willingness to dedicate any time or money into this school since I already feel unwelcome.

I was originally sold on the MBIC program because of an instructor NOT the school. The school isn't as good as it once was. Students are expected to do externship and be supervised by unqualified professionals which goes against their accreditors standards. They do not know what they are doing, new instructors don't have the passion to teach as our previous instructor. Everyone on campus has told us they do t know what their own medical billing and coding program is, nor have tried to learn. MBIC students are constantly being told that they will be certified (licensed in a sense) but they are not. Brought this up to admin and nothings changed. New students are still under the impression that they will be certified by the end of their program.

Zero stars I looked into going here while my wife was enrolled and because how she was treated here i decided not to go here now over 6 months later I received two text messages replied stop and Im not interested got emails. And then back to back to back phone calls Vernon would not take no thank you for an answer! Vernon first texted me then decided he was going call me and when I asked to stop contacting me he got loud and demanding on the phone. Do not support this school and their policies! My wife had gotten Covid from her instructor coming to work with Covid saying there is no excuse to miss class didnt wear a mask. The school doesnt even follow Covid guidelines that the cdc put into effect during the mask mandate and we have a newborn my wife missed two days of school she was so sick they contacted her and said if you miss one more day your unenrolled. The government clearly states school or work the 5 day quarantine so regardless you have to miss three in person classes. Not to mention the online classes she did from home was 75 percent of the time wasted by talking about nothing like the teacher was just in a FaceTime with all her friends. This school is just like Everest dont waste your time or money my guess is they will close and have a class action lawsuit like the others.
