Management sucks. Place is way over priced

I lived there for 6 yrs until I had to move for work 2yrs ago...Im happily moving back next month!(Aug2022) Stephanie is wonderful and the apts are amazing! Im so happy to say I will be back there next month and can call it home again! Update::(Aug 2023): im renewing my lease this month...once again I need to say this is by far the BEST place to live...safe,quiet,well insulated,walking distance to farmers market,library and more!! The manager is an absolute dream and a pleasure to have...Its the ONLY place I will live...luv luv

TLDR; Could almost be worth it for the price I paid if it weren't for mold, cigarettes, and the laundry facility. I lived here 2020-2021 in a one bedroom. The on premises laundry room was not only really gross but wildly expensive. Close to $5 to do one small load mixed with dog hair and actual pieces of poo. There were screaming kids that could be heard across the complex at 10pm. I was told "kids will play loudly," after sending in a video of a group of young children circling my unit yelling about their genitals after I closed my window due to their screaming. The person reviewing the video didn't have sound and had done nothing until the video was shown to her in person. Never received an apology for the rudeness and sarcasm she showed. The pool also stays open until 10pm. There was mold in the windowsills and ledges, the toilet tank, and dishwasher. This was after I'd asked and was told there was no history of mold. After bringing it up, I was told I needed to get a rotating fan because the unit had poor circulation, as that was a problem in all those units. I could not leave any windows open as smoking is permitted. There's no designated area. People are allowed to smoke outside of their units, and it will drift. My unit also had a strange smell coming from a corner of the living room. Never found out what it was, but it drove me nuts. Like moldy potatoes. I had not informed management of this, so it's not their fault it wasn't remedied. They have lots of trash and recycling bins, including glass, throughout the complex, and the grounds are beautiful. The maintenance guy is lovely, and despite the one bedrooms being small, they do have a dining room and are cute on the inside. For the price I paid at the time, about $1200, it was almost worth it. All they needed was to apply killz, ban cigarettes, and completely redo how they go about the laundry room. I would have been happy to stay there if that was fixed.
