If I could give 10 STARS, I would! Angus fought a very long 4 1/2 year battle to defend our son over allegations that would have cost him 20 years. Angus communicated with us regularly, independantly investigated the facts and kept us positive through long Covid delays within the court system. All charges have been DISMISSED. It's just over a week later and after having so much at risk for so long, it still feels unreal that it's over. Thank you so much for all you have done!

Angus Lee has restored my hope in the judicial system. My brother was falsely charged with 4 counts of vehicular homicide by the state of Washington in 2019. Despite there being essentially no evidence linking my brother to the scene of the accident that left 2 people deceased, the state continued to pursue the charges. Im so thankful my brother choose Angus because he was the only lawyer that predicted the narrative behind the states accusations, and with confidence, provided great insight of the states motive in the matter. Every other lawyer he interviewed said that the state didnt have a case and that this would be an easy win. Well, 4 1/2 years later of a long battle that was settled in trial, my brother was exonerated of all charges thanks to a jury that unanimously voted NOT GUILTY. Due to the severity of the charges and the prosecutors adamant accusations, Im convinced that this verdict never would have resulted without Mr. Lees knowledge, precision, and unwavering dedication. Four and a half years ago, the state of Washington attempted to charge my little brother with four counts of vehicular homicide, two of which were for driving under the influence and two for reckless driving. Upon arriving to the collision scene which involved my brothers roommate at the time, and a woman in a BMW, the Vancouver PD made false accusations that my brother and his roommate were racing on their motorcycles, which inevitably took his roommates life, as well as the women in the BMW. After my brother informed me he had a good feeling about Mr. Lee, he hired him and Angus promptly started a thorough investigation to free my brother on all four charges. The state offered my brother a plea bail where they would drop two of the charges, still serving him 8 years in prison. My brother turned down the plea bail, which meant he would be going to trial. The trial got pushed off for years due to finding more evidence on behalf of the state and Covid. After gathering substantial evidence, including police reports where one officer wrote a false statement saying my brother struck both vehicles, and later amended his claim, gathering professional witnesses to measure his speed with accuracy etc, amongst multiple other pieces of vital evidence, Mr. Lee was able to drop two of the charges by the judge. Finally, the jury was convinced that my brother was in fact, not guilty on ALL counts of vehicular homicide. There couldnt have been a better way to end this year. No amount of money could repay Mr. Lee for the peace he gave not only my brother, but also, our family. We gained a lifelong friend from this and true justice for my brother, so he can finally live his life as a free man.

I wish I could give Angus 100 stars. I was being wrongfully accused of felony crimes that were outrageous and untrue. When I initially met with Angus he was the only lawyer who really took my case seriously. All the other lawyers I presented it to just shrugged it off and thought it would be an easy win, and would probably never even make it to a trial. But Angus knew what the state is capable of, and where their motives lie. Angus navigated my highly complicated case with extreme precision. His background as a prosecutor really helps guide his decisions and gives excellent insight as to what these prosecutors might do. My case was one of pure injustice and Angus really took it to heart and I believed it really fueled his fire. My case took four years to make it to trial, and during that time Angus counseled me every step of the way. His efforts pre-trial secured that we would have a fair trial. His attention to detail is unmatched. He secured an abundance of motions that really forced the state into a corner they couldn't get out of. The amount of work he puts in just goes to show how much he cares about his clients and their liberties as a citizen. During the trial he really commanded a presence that everyone could feel. His clarity and sound arguments won the show. I don't think any other lawyer would have successfully navigated my case, because of the foundation of lies the state was using against me. I sincerely believe I would be in prison right now if it weren't for him. I am eternally grateful for this man. He is a true American and a voice for the people against tyranny. Beyond just his credentials and expertise, which are impeccable, he really cares about his clients. He's fun and personable, but knows when to be serious and counsel with excellent discernment.
