For those seeking to pursue a Christian education for your child/ren, you are the reason that I am writing this review. We have had children enrolled in Cornerstone (CCA) for the last 18 years. Until about ten years ago, the school was under the headship of Crossroads Community Church. The school had a healthy “family” feel whether talking with teachers, walking into the office, or strolling through campus. Biblical principles were integrated into the curriculum, and overall, students were respectful and well-behaved both in and out of the classroom. When CCA and Crossroads Community Church opted to part ways, we became acutely aware of a shift in culture as the school walked through ongoing changes in location, staff, and leadership. In our personal experience, the “family feel” and overall healthy culture has steadily degraded over the last several years. Our children have described a decline in the amount of Biblical integration occurring in the classroom and the amount of disrespectful and inappropriate behaviors that they have been exposed to on a daily basis in the classroom caused them to feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. Over the last school year, it became evident that specific threats to student safety, destruction of school property, and severe bullying amongst students seem to be handled internally without the involvement of law enforcement or communication with teachers or parents. In discussions about this, we were advised that threats of violence are pretty commonplace nowadays in the public school arena. My question is - should we not expect more when choosing to have our children educated in a Christ-centered environment? I appreciate the vision of current leadership at CCA. I think that their hearts for children and their desire to serve the Lord are genuine. However, from our family’s personal experience, their vision and hope for what CCA should be is not what is being experienced where the “boots hit the ground” in the classroom.

This school is amazing for a god centered and quality education and they work hard to have their students and families to feel at home here.

Very Good School, I go to a different school right now and cant stand it. This school is GREAT I have been begging for a high school for MANY months. Keep in mind I am only 15 and most kids don't like school. This school taught me to work hard and encourage others. Ignore the other responses. This school is SPECTACULAR with their education, leadership, and learning skills. I would 100% come back here if I could. At this school the teachers actually care about you and want to help you emotionally and spiritually. Cornerstones education is EXCEPTIONAL!

Our son goes to Cornerstone, and we absolutely love it. The teachers are nice and we see a huge progress in his development since he started. He currently attends part time daycare. Unfortunately they will no longer offer part time option for daycare, and we are not sure if we will stay for full time :( , we are deeply saddened
