        My son started tutoring with Sylvan in June of 2023. They did a fantastic job evaluting his strengths and the skills he still needs to work on. He has enjoyed going to tutoring and always leaves feeling proud of himself and his accomplishments. He has grown in his reading skills for sure, but most importantly, in his confidence. The other day he said, "Mom, let me read that chapter!" and he read a chapter book independently for the first time. The staff also reached out and connected with my son's teacher to ensure they had a comprehensive understanding of his needs and to create a more complete partnership. The staff are communicative, flexible, encouraging, and supportive. They always greet us with a smile and have helped my shy son feel welcome and confident. I highly recommend them for not just supporting all areas of academics, but helping kids grow in their confidence and problem solving skills.
