SS Sub Shop

Plenty of seating in the small sub shop. Sandwiches are priced appropriately for the portion you get and the quality of the food. The Italian grinder is top of the line for me. Service is great, and they weren't afraid to fix an issue that I didn't even notice until they rectified it. Highly recommend if you want a better sandwich than you can make at home.

This place has been my go to for years. I have never been unimpressed with the quality of their food until today and it makes me quite sad. I understand prices are high but when Im paying 12 dollars for a bagel sandwich I dont expect to see half the toppings were missing and that they skimped out on all of the other toppings. I ordered a bagel sandwich with avocado, sprouts, and peppers, ALL of which you must pay extra for. I received none of those except a sprinkle of sprouts. My boyfriend ordered a turkey provolone with the same toppings I had. He received his sandwich with a tiny spread of avocado which is better than mine but still not acceptable, and a few peppers. He also didnt even get provolone. I mean its in the name, come on. Over all I was very disappointed I suppose I will continue going to San Francisco sourdough where I always expect a good quality sandwich.
