      image Beautiful lake property but otherwise very basic room with detached and distant bathroom. No microwave, freezer/ice or other frills

      These guests arrived at 2AM. Their flight landed at 10PM. They'd said they'd come straight to the B&B but went instead to a casino. The wife had told her husband she prefers hotels but he "surprised" her anyway. They were here two nights. She was afraid to be without him but he left alone and was gone all day. They did not use the hot tub, the kayaks, nor the gazebo and fire pit by the lake. This was a good learning experience for us. If you need to arrive after 8 pm, the latest check in time noted on our website, please call to discuss. If you're going to be gone all day and are with someone who is afraid to be alone and wants a hotel anyway, that may be best for everyone.

      image John and Beth are amazing. They welcomed us like we were part of their family. Great views and accommodations. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the area.

      image We had a delightful two nights' stay with John and Beth. They were warm and welcoming. We had the entire lower level to ourselves and it was impeccably clean with everything you need for comfort. The shower pressure was fabulous and breakfast was quite enjoyable. John and Beth even packed us a to-go breakfast for our early morning departure. The view of the lake and grounds surrounding the home were fabulous. Would highly recommend.
