Good people and a great facility. Glad we picked it for a beginner's first lesson...and subsequent re-up sessions.

My daughter who is 7 goes to a 5-6pm class on Wednesday. I've seen the coach be unprofessional multiple times. Once she pushed my daughter, the week before she had very stern words for 2 other students for goofing off- "you guys will never be partners again".. I thought this was about learning to enjoy and have Passion for gymnastics at the young age.

Ooof where to begin? We have had nothing but great experiences at Pacific Reign. We came here last fall on a recommendation from a friend and they have exceeded our expectations. Each staff member we have worked with, especially our own Coach Lina, has helped our kiddo develop her love and excitement for the sport. We participated in the showcase last weekend and we were blown away by Coach Kendall's organization of the whole program. As a fellow event planner and sporting enthusiast, it is evident that a lot of thought and intentionality went into its planning and execution. All the hard work of the coaches, staff members, volunteers and athletes did not go unnoticed. Keep it up!

I've been going to the adult gymnastics classes since October 2022, shortly after they started it, and it's been nothing short of life changing! I hadn't competed in nearly 30 years and hadn't gone to a proper adult class in 20 years, so it was a little scary to give this a try again, but it's been awesome at every step. I didn't know Pacific Reign even existed (it's nowhere near where I live) until someone posted about the class on an Facebook group for adult gymnasts. Gena was the first person I encountered when I called to ask about a thousand annoying questions about the registration options, what the class was like, how many people were in it, what skills they work on, etc, etc. and she answered all of them cheerily. She also helped me figure out what to do when I got there (there's a check-in screen and lockers to put your stuff). I should add here its also the cleanest most well-equipped gym Ive ever seen. Coach Colby led the warm up and Coach Kendall arrived with a very impressive multiple page lesson plan. People drop in on different days or sometimes to both (Mondays and Thursdays) so the level and experience of the folks there each day varies, but there's always options whether you're learning cartwheels or working on back handsprings. Colby brings the energy, jokes, conditioning, and spotting if you need it. Kendall comes up with brilliant drills and progressions, and delivers really astute corrections that have helped me overcome fear and get my skills back faster than I ever thought I would (at 47!) She's also attentive to any restrictions like my hypermobile knees and limited hip mobility and encourages safe practices for adult bodies. The other folks who come to the class are super supportive, with experienced gymnasts helping the newer folks (or helping me to remember what to do at each station). The class has really rekindled my love for the sport and now I'm looking forward to competing and attending their summer camp. If you're thinking about trying it out, you should. Just bring a good attitude, be curious and observe others if a skill/drill is new (as they often are to me even though I used to compete as a kid), expect yourself to fall repeatedly (trying and failing are part of the process), and be sure to ask lots of questions of the coaches and other gymnasts because we're all pretty happy to help each other out. [Note: If this isn't your frame of mind and you're expecting step-by-step, one-on-one instruction and attention, this class, or any class, might not be for you...I think that most people would find this class to be a lot of fun!]
