How Can I Sell My Home? It's not a question borne of spending 30 years in a neighborhood, memories and all, but one of strict necessity. I just didn't think it was possible. Why? My home was ancient and in dreadfully need of extensive restoration, both inside and out. This last winter passed without a functional furnace or hot water heater and bereft of some other major appliances, too. The deck had dry rot and the steps were near impossible to traverse safely. Inside, the floors weren't level. Pressboard covered holes caused by water damage along the north side. Spotty electrical issues, too. This was my fault for several reasons, not the least was an alcoholic binge that lasted more than a decade. The result was an unimaginable and hazardous mess of the interior. I was also being priced out of my home (an ever-escalating process that had begun years earlier), and I wouldn't likely be able to hold out much longer. It was time. Michelle Lions and Robert Carrol of Lions Realty Group literally came to my rescue. They were more than familiar with the area I lived in, and they had a keen understanding of the current housing market. They also knew how my home and property fit into the otherwise daunting puzzle of realty sales. I wanted to believe what these good folks were telling me, that the home would likely be snapped up very quickly, and possibly for more than the asking price. But it was too fantastic an idea to fully accept. It sounded too good. Did they not understand the long-standing magnitude of my negligence concerning my home? A tour of the grounds and the home's interior commenced. If anything, they were more encouraged! And they were right --my home was purchased quickly and with substantially more funds than the asking price. What's more, it was EASY. Michelle and Robert are consummate professionals. Very rarely would my questions stump them, and their answers were also easy to understand. Well, okay. In one case, I'd posed a question via email and rather than trod on someone else's turf, Michelle chose to forward the question to the title agent (who was equally reassuring and pleasurable to work with). Incidentally, the email forwarding didn't come as a surprise. Michelle had taken care to give notice, as always, every step of the way. When someone is unusually pleased with the people they work with, they sometimes think of those people as friends. I count Michelle and Robert as my friends. Michelle Lions and her partner, Robert Carroll, are the best realtors Ive had the pleasure of working with. They always go above and beyond for their clients. They helped me find my condo when I moved here 5 years ago and they have just sold the same property for me. They truly care about their clients and are just all around great folks. I purchased a property listed by David Sappenfield. Unfortunately, after closing, we did not get full set of keys to the house, garage door opener or the mailbox key. They are not even telling us the mailbox number. Extremely unprofessional

Michelle & Rob are my Dynamic Duo! They are knowledgable, personable, professional and really quite funny too! I needed to relocate to another state and it was my first time selling. I trusted that the person I hired would do what was needed to sell my home. Unfortunately, that was not the case! After 2 months, out of desperation, I reached out to friends for help. Michelle & Robs contact information was provided to me by a lender they work with frequently. Literally, from the moment we started talking, they were already putting the pieces together to help me. They reassured me that all would be ok and they will guide me through the process. I was very comfortable leaving the whole process in their hands.They drove out toured my home that evening, had their contractor there the following day making arrangements to do a few light fixture changes and repaint the interior. They staged my home beautifully, had true professional photographs done, and was able to re-list my home, and have an open house in just 2 weeks! My home sold in a few days!!!! We are so lucky Michelle and Rob helped us get our very first home! We are new to Washington State, so we had no connection to a real estate agent in the area. We did some research and found that Michelle and Rob are known as the top real estate agents in this area. We reached out to connect with them and they were immediately so generous with their time with us. From our very first conversation with them, they treated us like we are their only clients. They are very responsive and always so patient with us. Rob took us on multiple house tours and we were very impressed by how knowledgeable he is about building foundations and materials. We greatly appreciated how honest he was as well. He pointed out negative details about properties that we would not have noticed. That really made us feel confident that we were getting a property that was worth its value. After the inspection, Rob and Michelle were able to notice maintenance issues and negotiate with the seller to cover those expenses. We heard of many cases of buyers completely foregoing the inspection for fear of having their offer rejected, so we were very impressed by their negotiation skills. We would definitely have Rob and Michelle as our agents in the future and we highly recommend them to anyone who is searching for a new home. We were able to purchase our first home that we love because of them. We cant imagine that we would have been able to do it without their incredible talents and expertise!
