I had the opportunity to attend the Valentine's Day event at Delille Cellars hosted for Yelp Elites. As a first-time attendee, I couldn't have asked for a more special experience. The evening was a perfect blend of delectable bites, meticulously paired wines, and a charming atmosphere, all thanks to the wonderful staff. From the refreshing Forget-Me-Not Sparkling Ros to the clean and crisp 2022 Chaleur Blanc, each sip offered a delightful journey of flavors that left me torn between favorites. The versatility of the wines, especially showcased in the D2, was truly impressive. What truly stood out, however, was the impeccable service and attention to detail throughout the event. Every aspect was thoughtfully curated, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable evening for all attendees. I am definitely eager to return for future celebrations and wine adventures at Delille.

After a disappointing experience at this establishment, I feel compelled to share my concerns. Despite previous enjoyable visits for wine tasting, attending a family member's birthday dinner here proved disheartening. Long wait times for drinks, incorrectly prepared food, and unprofessional behavior from staff and management marred the evening. Despite our willingness to pay for what we consumed, the manager insisted on charging for uneaten food and even added a gratuity fee, while slamming the check on the table and yelling. This aggressive approach, coupled with staff disparaging remarks, was unacceptable. Tip culture should reflect exceptional service, not be obligatory. Until improvements are made, I recommend sticking to the wine tasting side of the cellar to avoid disappointment.
