Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery

Beautiful property and decent wine. If you're looking to have the Washington wine experience. This is a great place to go if you don't know anywhere else to visit. Having said that, a quick Google search for local wineries will find you literally hundreds of others that are just as good, if not better, but don't have the space and property that Saint michelle does. Ever since the investment group bought the winery, there has been a noticeable change: more options and more expensive. Due to the price of everything, we don't actually get to enjoy most of the things that have been added, but they do look very nice. As far as a location for concerts to be held, it doesn't get much better. Again, the ticket prices have gone up, which can probably be associated with ticketmaster and inflation, but they have significantly reduced the general admission lawn seating for higher priced "reserved grass seating." This is annoying for those of us who have been going there for years, been members for almost as long, and we are literally and figuratively being pushed to the side for profits. As a fellow concert goer, I would also like to remind everyone with high back chairs. There is a special area for you in the back because you can sit up higher, please take advantage of it.

Very nice venue and not very busy on this dreary Tuesday afternoon. Offers a different tasting each month, with small bites that match the wines.

They advertise that by joining their club you get the ability to purchase tickets to their concert series during the pre-sale. This turns out not to be true. Misleading advertising.
