Stayed here on the way to Seneca rocks about a week ago. Was a very brief stay, just a quick overnight so I could be on the trail early in the morning. That said, the hotel was very well kept and clean. The pool stayed open till 11:00 p.m., which I thought was surprising. Most pools close much earlier. If you are looking for a fitness center, this is not the place for you. All they had were kettlebells and medicine balls. Beyond that, for the price the rooms can't be beat. Pretty close to the downtown area, but I wouldn't say walking distance.
Walkability: Not a turn to walk to. But there is a gas station and Huddle House directly out front.

Hidden behind the Huddle House, but overall is a very clean hotel, with decent pricing.
The pool is nice also.
Rooms: The rooms are spacious and well kept.

Great breakfast and staff. The usual hotel room. The heater cycles way too often.
