As West Virginians, it was great to be able to get away to somewhere nice in West Virginia! Our bed was very comfortable, and the room/bathroom was tastefully decorated and clean. Coffee and tea were always available, and we enjoyed our breakfast of requested omelets and blueberry pancakes. We highly recommend Lake Manor, will definitely visit again!

By mistake we booked the wrong dates and we arrived a week early. The owner was not expecting anyone seeing how a large wedding party had just taken place at the manor. We showed up unexpected. She was very gracious and accommodating. She made a room available to us. We stayed in the Safari room that had an authentic and wonderful decor. Our stay was excellent and I cannot express to her out gratitude for her hospitality. If you want to see the true colors of any business, show up unexpected. The manor is exactly what you want to see. It is beautiful, clean, spacious and friendly.

Hoagy's hero's long distance charity riders were treated to a great buffet lunch. Very nice people. Very good food.
