Hampton Inn Princeton

The rooms were adequate but not exceptional and very dark. The bathroom is in need of remodel/ refresh. I've stayed at numerous Hampton Inns and always look forward to the complementary breakfast. This hotel fell far short of expectations. It is mostly a continental breakfast with few tasty options: no eggs, a tasteless meat patty, diced potatoes, numerous waffle toppings and bread options. I am disappointed and will look for different accommodations on the way back.

The beds were so very soft I had a difficult time trying to sleep. When I went to check in , the front desk person was chatting and flirting with the gentleman before me. They were engaged for over 20 min. The person behind me stated she went all the way down to her room and back and these two were still "checking" in. After driving 11 hrs, this was NIT. Welcomed.

No hot water in evening or morning for showers. When heat was selected air conditioning came on.

We stayed at this hotel twice as a stop during our vacation to Myrtle Beach. Location right off the highway and plenty of places to eat within a short drive. Staff was friendly and helpful. We used the pool during each stay for the kids to burn energy and it was heated. Only negative was beds were way to stiff making them uncomfortable for us. Rooms: Rooms were nice and clean, bed too stiff for our liking. Food & drinks: Plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from.
