Im out of state for work and wanted to try this place since it had great reviews on doordash. This is the most disappointed I've ever been receiving an order. A total of 2 jalapeos, 3 onions slices, 3 cucumbers and I asked for extra lettuce and Mayo and it looks like they did easy to both. No care seemed to have gone in this order. So not worth the money.

The Casaloma Erbs has had many ups and downs over the years, and unfortunately the store is currently on a down streak for the last few years. From approximately 2013-2019, both Appleton Erbs were very well managed and run, and the employees were adequately trained and worked hard. Since 2019, a certain district manager took over and its been an absolute disaster ever since. The downtown store closed because they couldnt keep employees and the managers literally kept dying. The owner of these stores is in his late 80s and has completely lost touch with how operate a business. The Casaloma Store never cleans its soda lines and the district manager would not approve a $90 purchase for permanent ice machine cleaning wand so now when you get I e there are tiny specs or black mold visible. Seriously, get some ice and some Sprite and you will see flecks of black. They dont actually fill out the temperature check logs for the soups, ingredients, and coolers and most of the time someone would just sit down on Sundays and fudge the numbers and file it away. They dont bake the bread every 2-4 hours or so like they are supposed to and just bake a massive load in the morning and maybe 1-2 more throughout the day as needed. Its very possible that by 2-3pm you are eating bread that was baked between 7-8am and sat out in the raw air for 8 hours. In 2022 there was thick green mold gunk lining the racks in the coolers and it was clear it hadnt been cleaned in years. Both make tables in the store regularly go down and lose their temp/power. Employees do attempt to follow health and safety guidelines and move the products into the main cooler to stay at temp, but because no one regularly check the equipment temps with the logs, in can take hours or even days for anyone to notice the table is broken. While slicing the meats, the main slicers will leave each pile out in stacks until they are done with the entire loaf of whatever it is they are slicing. There are strict rules that as soon as a pack is done, you immediately wrap and date it and get it into the cooler to get back down to safe temp. This practice hasnt been followed in years. The slicers will often not clean the machine in between slicing different products, like Turkey or cheese or capaicola, and residue of the meats and cheese would build up on the blade cross contaminating everything. The table was not flipped every single day as instructed, the dating of the products rules were often ignored, and the hand washing and gloves policy is not adhered to at all. This store NEEDS to change owners as soon as possible, and the district manager needs to be let go. Its been suggested that the district manager is now to become the general manager of the Casaloma store specifically. If this is true, be prepared for extended wait times and incorrect orders as it was observed this manager does not understand the actual daily routine of the store, how to properly build the sandwiches per E&G corporate standards, and does not know how to staff or schedule the store. This manager was openly making sexist and inappropriate comments about the male employees, and would often force employees into hours long off the clock conversations just to talk smack about certain employees they didnt care for.
