Ringling House Bed & Breakfast

This was our first time visiting the Ringling House B&B, and we really enjoyed the house, the hosts, and the location! We especially liked the stained glass windows and extensive built-in woodwork in the dining room and library; it felt very luxurious to us compared to the typical house. Julie cooked up tasty breakfasts that met our gluten-free and dairy-free dietary needs, and offered gluten-free crackers for the wine & cheese gathering. Stu gave us a wonderful tour of the house with lots of Ringling Brothers history. Both were gracious with good stories to share around the dining room table. The house is located 4 blocks from the downtown area making it easy to walk or drive to most restaurants and several museums in the area. The gorgeous Devil's Lake State Park is only 10 minutes away and it was about 15 minutes to Tesla supercharger in Lake Delton. The only minor disappointment was that all the museums around Baraboo were closed for the winter.
Rooms: Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. My husband and I slept well all three nights we stayed at the Ringling House B&B.
Walkability: The town is smaller and only a few blocks from the B&B making it very walkable for both sightseeing and restaurants.
Food & drinks: We choose Baraboo for our stay because of the restaurants and we were not disappointed. Every place we ate had a good menu of fresh and local items, and all had at least one vegan option.

Such a lovely historic home! We absolutely enjoyed ourselves during our well deserved getaway. Julie and Stuart are the best and a wealth of knowledge for the Ringling family history and for the Baraboo area. Breakfast was delightful each morning. Thank you for being wonderful hosts!

A great option for a quick weekend away. Great accommodations, perfect breakfast food and presentation, and wonderful hosts to experience. All positive for this one! Give it a try--you won't be disappointed!

Well kept old world home. Allot of history.
Rooms: Old world. Romantic.
Nearby activities: Allot Google Baraboo wis.
