The ATM malfunctioned and ate our debit card 330am 7/14/21. Called bank 9am same day for assistance as we were at work. The customer service person says, Can't help you, download Chase app and report card missing. This ATM is right outside the bank! I asked further questions due to concerns with loss, she Just repeated herself, download the Chase app. Wells Fargo is far more customer friendly!!

Very upset with customer service that was given as fraud was actively happening with our debit cards as we were in the branch. Employee was less than helpful and was reluctant to freeze cards/close accounts because they technically close at 5:00. Chase fraud assistance was even less helpful and will be pulling all funds out of accounts and moving to another bank. Customer service that I received at the Antioch location was much better and was sorry that she could not help reopen the claim and escalate things for me. She was willing to look at all of the proof that I had and also questioned the claims department as to how they could have arrived to their decision. If Chase uses a 3rd party claim/insurance company for these matters, they truly should look for a new vendor because no investigation was done. When speaking to the agent over the phone late Thursday night I was scolded when trying to explain the situation and she only wanted a yes or no answer out of me. I am currently reaching out to local news stations as well as opening a police report with Kenosha County! Beware of Digital Wallet Fraud and I would certainly not give Chase any of your business if this is how they handle this situation. I also wonder why they have cameras at each ATM if they are unable to access the photos without being subpoenaed to provide them. Certainly isn't protecting me or my money!!! Or yours for that matter!!!!
