Eleven years ago when our 21-year-old son died unexpectedly, we had Hulke Family Funeral Home assist us with the funeral. They walked us through every step and I felt like Mike, Kari, Brandon and the rest of the team sincerely cared about my family. And once the funeral is over, you're not forgotten. When my mom recently died, I already knew I was going to call them. Mike has gone above and beyond in making this entire process go smoothly. I recently lost my husband and chose Hulke Family Funeral Home to assist us. My daughters and I nervously walked into the initial meeting . We found a bright, clean, contemporary space. Mike quickly put us at ease. He walked us through the whole process, never rushed us, never tried to push things on us, and showed amazing compassion. In the following days he was amazingly quick to answer questions and keep us on track through many emails. When we came another day to bring pictures, flowers etc for the visitation, Mike must have seen me struggling to make some of them stand up and there he was with easels helping to place them around the room to make it look very welcoming. Mike and his staff made us feel very cared for when we needed it most. I have highly recommended Hulke Family Funeral Home to many of my family and friends.

Firstly, If you are reading this review I offer my condolences and can relate and sympathize with your loss. I unexpectedly lost my father at a rather young age. This was one of the hardest times of my life however, without Mike Hulke it would have been much more difficult. Mike is the most genuine and authentic person I have ever met, he truly cares and is not just putting on a display or going through the motions, which would be quite easy considering how long he has been in his line of work. We had the difficult choice of if we were going to have an open or closed casket due to unforeseen events in the ICU. Mike's care and going above and beyond what most would normally have done, allowed us to have an open casket and the opportunity to see my dad for who he was and have that last depiction. Don't bother going anywhere else, you will not find someone with the authenticity, empathy, compassion, and professionalism that Mike and his team have. He truly is a godsend and was put on this earth as a guide and gentle hand to help people through the most painful moments in life.
