        A quaint hotel. Can tell that it's older, but they're working to keep it nice. The bathroom was quite small and the breakfast was sparse, but customer service overcame it all. Alan, the day desk clerk was SO kind to us as we sat in the breakfast area well into the afternoon due to a breakdown of one of the vehicles we were delivering to Minnesota. It took FOREVER to get arrangements made for the vehicle to be towed and Alan was very gracious to allow us to wait in the breakfast area and even dried my husband's coat (it was raining/snowing all day and he was in-and-out MANY times).

        Wonderful mother daughter front desk employees KC and Tamara. They were fantastic on second and third shifts. I went to the lobby just to continue our conversations. The rooms were clean, quiet, and the location is somewhat tucked into the business neighborhood around it with plenty of places to eat. Really close to the mall where I was on business. Safety: It seemed very quiet for a booked hotel. Parking lot is well lit and I in think the neighborhood is actually pretty safe by reputation. If course most of Eau Claire is. Walkability: Yes to local places to eat like Red Robin and get food places as well as a strip mall and Kwik Trip was right down the road. Noteworthy details: Like I said. Say Hi to KC and Tamara they were a hoot!
