This is really unfair. Ok, so you purchased an "old" house which the wood floors were gapped. We bid the job, which is the exact amount of the invoice. Yes, it was 1 of the techs very first jobs and the lead tech was onsite doing the duct cleaning. There were years of dirt in the gaps of the floor and yes, after sweeping the new tech mopped only to pull even more dirt out of the gaps. It turned into vacuum, sweep, mop of gapped hardwood floors which is an uphill battle that Sawyer has made a mountain out of a mole hill. The only part of the house not cleaned per the quote was one hvac vent which was behind the baseboard and could not be removed because of this. If our bill was too high you shouldn't have agreed to our bid. I asked to correct things, which I had to bring up the right to cure law and the homeowner informed me they didn't touch things or hire anyone else but already moved into the home. So the home was plenty clean to live in but not enough sweeping was done to warrant paying??? Why you would even leave this review is troubling. You ridicule a new employee, you deny us correcting the issue, we compensated you a large discount because you already moved in and we would of needed to move your contents out in order to re-sweep. There was no back and forth, I admitted the new employee didn't take before and after photos and since you already moved in I was going to take you at your word. All of this over a gapped wood floor when 95% of the job was done to perfection. Again, it was so horrible you moved in??? Our schedule was filled and I stated we would be happy to go back and correct it and you said it was fine. As a contractor because of this review, I'm very tempted to have the "right to cure" law enforced, especially over the pettiness of it. You and I spoke twice, pleasantly, and this is just unfair. I hope other contractors that are considering working on your property see this post and maybe think twice before giving you a bid.
