B&B came out to our home after the recent storm to make repairs to the lines that were pulled off of the house by falling tree limbs. They came quickly, obtained parts and had the repairs to the wiring on the house finished in a matter of hours after the damage happened. They communicated with Xcel to cut the line and get it back up when they were done. Everyone we worked with was kind, professional and exceptionally efficient on a very busy and stressful day. The bill was prompt and very reasonable for the work done and time put into the job. We are so glad we called B&B to do the work, cant recommend them highly enough. I picked up my Chevy Bolt electric vehicle on Friday, March 24th, which I had been waiting for 5 months to receive. Chevy offers a Level 2 install with the purchase of the vehicle. My house is brand new, built in 2022. The box is 200amp, plenty big for an install. They kept asking for pictures, unable to give me any kind of broken down quote. This morning, they said it would be at least $2500 for the entire install (without providing a line by line quote). When I questioned that (GM/QMerit allows for $1000 and most customers are able to have that be plenty to cover the entire install, particularly in a brand new house with all of the updated wiring, boxes, connected garage, etc.). Instead of providing me with answers to my questions, they shut down and are now insisting on turning the referral back to QMerit, so now I need to wait even longer to have a vehicle I can actually use. As a single parent, I will do everything I can to ensure I'm not being ripped off. When others say they have older homes and need major upgrades and still can get the install done for $1000, something doesn't add up. They tried to blame me for saying I only wanted to communicate via email - which I explained that I am a teacher and cannot answer calls during the day, but would happy to have them come out and take a look. But, they wouldn't even do that. So before any itemized quote was provided for me to even review, they backed out. So, I'm now sitting here still waiting on someone who can do the right thing. I wouldn't recommend B & B if they can't handle a single parent's questions making sure they aren't getting ripped off in the process.
