    Bought a brand new heavy duty torch from Mississippi Welders Supply in Hudson WI. Faulty torch and is not functioning correctly. Staff unable to help in any way just advised no returns and nothing they can do. *UPDATE* Received a call back and they are taking care of me. I will be returning and purchasing a different brand. Thank you for making it right.

    Not too happy with the customer service after receiving a bad bottle of argon (confirmed). I was not treated like a customer but rather a headache that needed to be dealt with. They did swap the bottle, but they gave me one with a busted handle that barely opens the valve. I would like to swap this one as well but I dont want to be a pain in the A**. Called in the next day to just let him know the 1st bottle was in fact bad and was met with similar attitude. If there was another game in town I'd go there, but since there isnt, I'll keep going back. I think his name is Scott, maybe he's just having a bad couple days idk but if you sell me a faulty product you dont need to treat me like i'm the problem. I been welding 28 years and spent a lot of my own time to figure out this gas may have been bad. The least you can do is appologize for the inconvenience, let alone not be jerk about it.

    Make sure you check your tank of gas. So you don't drive all the way home with an empty tank.

    I came here to buy screens for a hood. They said they didn't carry the kind I needed, (which is fine) so they conviced me to buy a new helmet after telling me how bad mine was, even though I didn't need one. I caved in and bought it ( A mistake I'm at fault for, I admit). While I was paying for the hood the guy said, "I'll throw in some extra screens for you" and I thought that was nice and it made me feel good about getting a new hood, but then I drove all the way home (an hour long drive) and saw that they actually charged me for the extra screens on the receipt. I told my fellow Northwood Tech classmates about this and they all had their own stories about being overcharged here. I suggest going to menards over this place. I know they'll probably respond to this and claim a miscommunication but that is what happened.

I apologize that you felt that I thought you were a headache, that was not my intention. When I asked you why you thought the gas was bad, I was just trying to rule out any other possibilities. We do get a bad bottle once in a while, but it is pretty rare. When you did call back the next day to tell me the new gas was good, and the previous gas was bad I appreciated the feedback. The previous bottle was tagged and will be analyzed by our fill plant. When you told me about the handle being hard to open and were worried about being responsible for it, I assured you that you would not be. I should have offered you a different bottle at that time and I apologize for not doing so.
