Definitely the worst hospital ever, the male doctors are so rude and disrespectful.

Rooms were dirty and staff was terrible. There was blood spots on the floor next to my bed from previous patients and throw up in the bathroom and soiled linens were overflowing causing the room to smell terrible. Nicest nurse there was the lady who checks you in and gets your vitals. Go to a different ER if possible.

Got in late at night, didn't wait that long. The staff was busy but that's to be expected. They were really kind and patient. Doctor fixed me up and I was on my way

A nurse called my senior living complex and they asked me if so and so lived there. After I checked my list and I informed the nurse they were not on my list and they yelled at me and said what did I mean they are not there and they decided to inform me that I myself had sent them over even though I didnt even know who they were and even though I work in an entirely different area and they were very snotty to me and I honestly cant believe that they would treat a disabled person that way and I sobbed after I transferred the nurse to a different department that I thought could help them.

I see a specialist at uw Madison and had some severe symptoms that required immediate care, they advised me to drive up to Meriter ED and they would take care of me. I waited only a few minutes for triage, then promptly taken back to a room and by the time the nurse was helping me change into my gown Dr Heiser was already in the room assessing me and coming up with a plan. Im sure it cant be easy working in an emergency room, but not a single person there made me feel like an inconvenience. In a world where everyone is so quick to share complaints, I thought you all deserved to hear the good! Thank you for all you did for me.
