        I do not believe Ive had a worse experience seeking medical treatment than at SSM health. The physicians and PAs have been racist and rude in every single visit. Doctors have caused me physical pain during routine exams and acted like it was a burden to treat me. The health groups policies do not keep up with good practice. Im no longer working with this group of medical professionals.

        They were listed as providers for psychiatry through my insurance. I called to make an appointment, and was told I had to have a referral from a primary doctor in the SSM group. So I made an appointment with a PCP, got a referral and called back to schedule. I was told that they were booking out one year, meaning the first available appointment would be next September. Don't try to come here, you'll wind up in the ER or dead before they get you in to see a doctor. Unbelievable. I am so disappointed.

      Craig Hinkle is a board-certified physician assistant practicing in orthopedic surgery. He obtained his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin in Platteville, WI and earned his master’s in physician assistant studies from Des Moines University in Des Moines, IA.Hinkle is a member of both the American and the Wisconsin Academy of Physician Assistants. He is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.Craig is married and has three children; they also have a miniature golden doodle. He enjoys hiking, biking, camping, golfing, football, basketball, and baseball and playing games with his children. Craig is also involved in helping at their church fundraisers.As a family, they like to travel.
