We are required to follow the state syllabus & state guidelines for a cosmetology school, which includes completing all of the required timeframe within the school itself. Our classroom experiences include open discussions on class material, review individual chapter presentations, support assignments and exams, hands-on experiences & training, and additional project assignments to explore advanced topics for estheticians. It is your choice if you want to put headphones on and block out the opportunities provided.We are proud of our state board preparation because without a license, you can't operate as an esthetician. The average state board pass rate for all esthetics schools in Wisconsin is between 58%. In the same reporting period, the Academy of Beauty Professionals esthetics licensure rate is 100%! With regards to your exam results, congratulations on passing both of your exams on the first attempt. In regards to your comments with a state board examiner, we find your comments to be false and unethical. The state board examiners have to follow ethics standards and they cannot comment on your practical exam experience, nor can they ask where you went to school, and we have not had any complaints directed from DL Roope to us regarding complaints about our campuses. I will pass your online comments along to DL Roope so they can investigate your information regarding your exam experience on 8/13/23, under no circumstance can those comments take place with state board examiners based on their ethics standards.In terms of school choice, with open arms, we went to extra lengths to help you & your classmates when your school closed in spring 2023 and it is your choice to join our school after the previous school experience you had. If anything, we're more than caring to ensure that no learner is left behind & we genuinely care about helping all succeed.
