Did inpatient and now I'm doing IOP in-person and this place has been great to me.

Best in-patient hospital. I felt like the Techs were helpful, top notch at their profession, as were each nurse on their shift. Was there 10 days, too long for me. I asked to be discharged. Psychiatrist via zoom increased a medication which made me sleepy of course. off. Was to be discharged on a Thursday but they had me another two days. So overall, they wanted money from insurance of course Sarah (group therapist) was the best therapist i've seen.

Absolutely horrendous process currently being experienced by my partner!!!! He was admitted here after being turned away to both UW and Meriter due to too many bodies. He was fitted with a GPS tracker which is already traumatizing, is sleeping on a jail bed, and they are REFUSING TO LET HIM LEAVE!!!! It has been close to 72 hours and within this time he has witnessed 3 other patients getting verbally upset due to the refusal of discharge, and he was almost attacked physically after being slandered verbally by a patient suffering from Schizophrenia. The nursing staff has been pretty piss poor with communication on not only discharge, but to families on how the patient is doing. Ive tried calling this feels illegal. Just sucks that the time away meant for healing is now even more traumatizing.

In brief, this facility treats it's patients like a commodity rather than people who need mental health care. Patients and census counts effect the bottom line and that's all that matters to leadership. I wish that I could say more positive things about this place. I did know several great people there, at least at one point. Unfortunately, in the two years it's been open they've cycled through three CEOs (five if you count interim CEOs), three nursing directors, three CFOs, and I can't even keep track of the rest of the MGMT team that have cycled through. Some who went had problems and needed to be replaced. Some who left were a real loss to the company. The problem is that it seems like they only bring in someone who's worse. We have a need for Mental Healthcare in this city. Their PHP program was a bright spot in a sea of black. This place, unfortunately, ultimately, is causing more harm to the community than good. I hope that they turn themselves around. I hope they stop purposely understaffing, that they prioritize giving healthcare instead of making money, that they treat their employees better, and that they take a hard look at themselves. It's ridiculous that this place for almost a year had zero on site psych providers.
