Staybridge Suites Racine - Mount Pleasant, an IHG Hotel

Charged 250$ because my child had an Easter basket on Easter and a few shreds of grass were left on the carpet. Didnt know that at 160$ a night I was expected to bring my own vacuum but apparently thats what they expect, we took out our own trash, loaded the dishwasher, even washed their towels and they charged us 250$ to pick up Easter grass. They also place multiple large holds on your card and claim its because you booked through a booking agency. And that happened both times we stayed here. So if you stay here be prepared to have a few hundred taken and held during your stay and also to have them charge you an insane amount for absolutely basic cleaning. The manager is rude and unhelpful. There are plenty other hotels in the area well take our repeat extended stays elsewhere.

Rooms: We had a 2 room suite! Perfect size for 3 people... beautiful room! Safety: Felt safe even in the lobby... never worried much about our stuff we left in the room when we'd leave for awhile. Noteworthy details: Just beautiful!

The management team on site read my complaint and fixed the issue. I am impressed with the teams efforts to make it right. Also, I met a very pleasant person that was a director for ULINE and he was a excellent person and he said that particular team is not coming back. The jacuzzi is not working still however that is much better than unruly guests. Thank you Staybridge of Mount Pleasant and Collen for reaching out.

Evelyn , I have been a guest here for almost five months. She has help make each and every week a winner. Staybridge is a better Cooperation, with Evelyn as part of the team. Its easy to find the negative, but I assure you her patience, kindness, attention to detail, and consistency has me as my stay a pleasure. Thank you Evelyn and congratulations to the management on a fantastic employee. Rooms: The rooms and extremely well managed, by the housekeeping team. They carry a fantastic attitude as well. What defines people is adversity, things happen beyond their control, but the respond and dont ignore it. Again the front desk lead is always willing.
