        We were excited to see the Colonel's Place, however, it was closed even though the website shows they are open. A note on the door states if you want to see the place you can call a number. "They are only 5 minutes away." This should be noted on the website. I certainly don't want to have to wait for someone to show up to open up a business that is suppose to be open. Not a good way to be successful.

        The Colonel's Place is awesome for finding unique and timeless treasures. Not only are there a variety of things to see, but the place itself is steeped in history. With roots back to Generac and dairy farming sciences you'll get more than you bargained for in a stop!

        Hidden away in the Kettle Moraine near Genesee Depot. A neat antiquing place, with a lot of local Wisconsin dairy history & even a little museum. I picked up a couple of knick-knacks, having stumbled upon Brook Hill road on a country drive. Weekend - seasonal hours.
