Waukesha Lofts

Lived here for a year and had nothing but problems. Started when we moved in and had debris falling onto our bed from the ceiling. Initially notified them and they came in and caulked the ceiling. Same issue occurred and notified them again. Nothing happened. Notified them again that I could hear crunching at night and I think it could be bugs. About a week later they came to put a tarp on my ceiling and another week passed before they got pest control out to exterminate the bugs. It turned out there was a nest of carpenter ants above the ceiling. Mind you, it had gotten bad enough where I had to sleep on the couch for a week. When asked for financial compensation, I was told it was resolved in 5 days and they didnt feel it was deserved. In reality, from my initial complaint to when the tarp was put up, over 2 weeks passed. The next issue was when it rained, our ceiling leaked and Im assuming brown stain was dripping down our walls and onto our furniture. Resolution was painting over the stains. This worked until the next time it rained. Next issue was Birds had gotten into our air ducts, which caused constant noise at night while they were climbing around. We had gotten into the air ducts to clean them out, and there was bird poop everywhere. IN THE AIR DUCTS. So had to breathe bird dropping contaminated air for close to a month. There were a total of about 2-3 weeks that the elevator and the key fab wouldnt work so it wasnt possible to get into the building, which you can probably see how that would be an inconvenience. So in the span of 12 months a lot went wrong and there didnt seem to be much of an effort made to resolve the issues. Would not recommend at all.

Lived here for 5 years, beautiful finishes in the unit. Love it here
