Scott did a great job on our mold issue. He found the mold and spent many hours remediating our house. Our problem ended up being worse than originally thought. Scott had the connections needed to get unexpected problems fixed in a timely manner. If it weren't for his connections to get sub contractors in to take care of unforeseen issues, we'd probably still be waiting for our house to be put back together. He not only worked 10 hour days but worked the weekend to get the job done. He is a hard worker who rarely took a break. He was dedicated to seeing the job done correctly and efficiently. He genuinely cared that our house was a healthy environment for my family.

Within months of living in my first purchased home, my children, wife and myself began having health issues. It wasnt until a drain pipe broke in my finished basement that i discovered a serious mold issue. After calling several places listed on google (which you speak with a desk jockey rather than a professional) i came across and called Cobak Environmental. I spoke with Scott about my situation. Within minutes of our conversation i knew this was the guy i was going to hire. He was friendly, EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE, blunt about my situation and upfront about cost. He showed up the next day on time and performed a consultation which lasted several hours. He inspected every inch of my home. Not only found all the mold issues and its source, but pointed out rodent incursion points and alot of things my home inspector missed and offered his knowledge on how i can fix them myself. After that i hired him to do a complete gut job remediation of my fully finished basement. It was a struggle and a hazard for his crew and himself as not only was there the mold, but the previous owners did a very out of code hack job finish including exposed live conduit not even capped hanging in my finished walls and ceiling. There were even screws drilled into some conduit which nearly electrocuted his brother (i witnessed this firsthand). Because of the dangers of some of the electrical they eliminated the uncapped conduit, repaired the damage from the screws, and even repaired a leaking pipe for my boiler. After the gutting he showed me how bad i got screwed in the sale of my first home not only by the seller, but the inspector. He showed and explained to me how bad the structure was. How bad and out of code the electrical and plumbing was. And pointed to where the previous homeowner hid the fact that water seeps in through my foundation. This left me with very serious and costly repairs that not only i cannot afford, but greatly devalue the home itself. He offered me advice on options on how to proceed further and even helped me seek professional legal advice. I also want to say that Scott went well beyond mold remediation for my family and I. He spent hours of his own time giving me an education on how to fix my homes issues. Helped us save alot of money on disposal. And even went as far as to show and explain to me how he finished his own homes basement. Giving me ideas on how to make it livable space again without creating another future mold issue. Overall i give this company 10 stars on performance and value.

Scott knows his business and is very knowledgeable. He was able to use his expertise to advise and I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs to have an inspection of their home.
