Cadence Academy Preschool

My 3 yr old nephew attends this pre-school and has a speech delay. They were able to set him up with a program where he is learning so much. He loves to talk now and tell me about all the things going on in the class and and he's learning. The teachers and all the staff are very friendly. I trust the teachers and recommend them to my friends. I love how excited he gets to go to school.

We've been with AAL/Cadence since our oldest was in 4k 6 years ago. The staff has been so great working with our schedule, and communicating all information. Staff is all very approachable and easy to talk to. The activities and curriculum in the toddler room helped our little guy know his numbers and letters before he was 3, and I love that they have the smaller class sizes for 4k. They've been the most affordable that we've found, thank God, because forget about qualifying for child care assistance and still being able to afford cost of living!

Our son has been attending Cadence Academy in Waukesha since he was just over a year old and I do not have enough positive things to say about the entire staff of this facility. I have always left feeling like my son was in the best of hands and knowing that he was living his best life every day while we are working to support our family. He has excelled in every aspect of his development with Cadence and I know with certainty that every teacher and staff member there knows not only him on a personal level, but my husband and I as well. Even after moving from New Berlin to the Lake Country area two years ago, my husband and I make the longer drive so that our son can continue his learning with Cadence in Waukesha. They are truly the best! I am so glad that we found them and I know my son is safe and well taken care of every time he walks through the door.

If I could rate this child care center a 0, I would!!! My little one, attended the Waukesha location, for less than a month. Reason being, there were multiple times, I gave specific instructions, on how and when to feed my child. The opening infant teacher, who seems very young, seemed to "know how to take care of a baby," and did not abide by my feeding schedule. She seemed to think, she could just do what she wanted, and not feed my baby enough, in which resulted in me being told "we are only going by the schedule you provided us...when in fact, I was very clear that if my child was still hungry, to feed an extra few ounces. I also made it clear that if my child was needing more brought in, for extra feedings, I had NO problem doing so. This specific Teacher..."Miss T," was very rude, when I simply asked her, why my child was so unhappy, and starving, upon pick up. It is their job, to provide the utmost care, when I leave my child/any children, in her care. The afternoon teacher, was very sympathetic with my needs, but was also an older woman, with a higher degree, as they post the teachers credentials outside the classroom. I felt a sense of ease, after bringing this to the attention, of the afternoon teacher, and she actually listened to my concerns. Things changed, until I noticed that teacher was no longer in my child's classroom anymore. It immediately went back to what went on before, and I did not feel comfortable leaving my pride and joy, with an uneducated young girl, who seemed to just want to do her own thing, regardless of my feelings, and the way I am raising my child. I picked my child up early one day, to see what goes on, when you randomly show up at an unexpected time...only to see my child screaming on the floor mat, staring at the teacher, as if they were begging to be noticed. I was furious, as AGAIN, it was "Miss T," with my child. She advised me, my child still had a little while yet, before it was time for a bottle, in which I replied "I don't care how early it is, if they are hungry, it is your job to know this, and take care of them." I paid good money and put my trust in this person, and the attitude/immaturity I received on more than one occasion, was absolutely unnecessary! Why is someone like this, working in the most important classroom, of a child care center?? My child now attends another center, and they have gone above and beyond for EVERY child/parent they have in the infant room. I lost trust, just from one person, but have managed to gain some back, knowing my child is in a safe and comforting environment. I would NEVER recommend this center to anyone, and I highly advise, you look elsewhere, where there are true qualified, genuine, caring teachers! Especially, in an infant room.
