        A business's credibility is rooted in its word, and Wisconsin Title and Closing Services demonstrated a complete lack of integrity. It was a was deeply disappointing due to their deceptive business practices, complete rude behavior and their failure to honor their commitments. When we encountered some incorrect documents during our closing, an employee assured us that it would be resolved before submitting our paperwork back at the office. I didn't want to sign the paperwork till it was fixed but they assured me they would fix it. Writing down on a sticky note what the correct information was an placing it on the doc. However, when we got the paperwork back it was not correct. When confronted they reneged on their word and chose to believe their employee's falsehoods, despite the accounts of three individuals who disputed her version. Furthermore, their rude and unprofessional behavior, including hanging up on me during our conversations, was unacceptable. They told me though they could file a new doc for the "best price I will find". this felt very much like a classic bait and switch. Wisconsin Title and Closing Services' deceptive practices and failure to honor their word left us deeply dissatisfied. Trust and integrity are vital in business transactions, and their actions were a complete letdown. I caution anyone to exercise extreme caution when considering their services and do not believe there word as they have demonstrated they can't keep it.

      Jake, your situation was not a run-of-the-mill problem. You wrote us a check that came back as insufficient funds. To get the closing done on time you needed to wire the money, which was done, and we got the closing done. We needed to wait until your bank wrote us a letter telling us the funds from the first check were good and then we could return the funds from the first check. When we explained this to you, you became irate and started to bully our employees, swearing and threatening us with legal actions when we followed the banking rules for the NSF check. We had hoped you would understand these steps in returning the money as you are a business owner as well. Please feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.

      We sincerely regret that you did not have a satisfactory closing experience, however you made an unreasonable request that we could not honor. We respectfully dispute your characterization of events. Your closing took place 4 months ago. At the closing table, you requested that the closing documents be changed so that you could take title in the name of a trust. Neither you nor your agent presented our office or your lender with a signed amendment changing the name of the buyer on the offer into your trust. You simply wanted it done at closing. After explaining to you that such a last-minute change may affect the completion of the closing, you and your wife proceeded to sign all documents.At the closing table you were presented with the option to have a deed drafted post-closing changing title into your trust and that our company could provide that service. You subsequently contacted our office to request a deed, and you obtained our deed request form which clearly states our drafting fee. When you returned the form, you demanded that we draft the deed for you at no cost and claimed that we were responsible for not being able to close in your trust’s name. Our staff explained to you that we charge a drafting fee (which was clearly stated on our form), and that you were welcome to contact another title company or a law office for assistance, but you were insistent that we provide this service for free. Even though you were dissatisfied with our response, you had continued to contact us again making the same demand.We apologize if you had any misunderstanding that there would be no fees due for providing the deed preparation and Wisconsin Transfer Return.
