Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC

The Asplundh team was in our neighborhood, working for WE Energies, and there was tree damage on our property that needed to be address for concern of the power lines. They pruned one tree, which they did a good job. Another tree they offered to completely remove, as it had seen better days, but was a fully mature tree. The team did all of the work just as they described they would and also cleaned up the mess of branches as any homeowner would hope for. We were left with a pile of logs to use for firewood (this is a positive), and also we requested that they leave the wood chips, which they were more than gracious to do so. We couldn't have asked the team to be kinder, safer, or respectfully cleaner. It was a pleasure observing them at their trade, and they deserve the full 5 stars from our perspective.

These people are awful to deal with. Our gas company hired them to come clean the tree from the wires outside and then our neighbor had them return because they left a mess on her property. In the process of cleaning up her property, they left a huge pile of debris in our yard along our wall fence that separates the properties. We have been calling and calling to get them to come clean it up, but they have not returned calls. We have 2 security cameras with before during and after videos so I guess we will have to take it a step further and go to court with them and/or call the BBB along with the DATCP. I refuse to clean this mess or have my family clean it up when we had done it already right before they came through here.

In my city doing electric company power line trimming. I totally agree with the 1 star reviews. Extremely long breaks about 1 maybe 2 trees a day for over a month. We energies tolerates this because they just raise our rates to offset costs.Only good thing is they mostly clean up the yards after they are done every day

Asplundh certainly earned their bad reputation in SE Wisconsin. Had a consult over 6 weeks ago about clearing branches from power lines. Heard nothing until they just showed up without any heads-up. They showed up at 7:45am, and sat in their trucks until after 9. Took a 90 minute lunch around 11. From 1:30 til 3 sat in their trucks again, then left. In the mere minutes they managed to work, one guy worked while the other 2 lounged in my grass and played on their phones. They absolutely butchered my, once beautiful, tree, and left my backyard knee-deep with branches. Are they coming back to clean up their mess? Who knows? Since they were all apparently mute and didn't communicate with me, at all, unless I flagged them down and asked a question - to which I only got 1 word answers. Absolute trash company, trash quality, and trash workmanship.
