Worst company EVER!! My husband died almost a year ago, 2 months shy of our 19th anniversary. I was sent a BILL for his premium due on a life insurance policy, in spite of being notified officially that he had passed away months prior. I have now filled out paperwork 3 times to receive @ $6k beneficiary; as my lawyer said youd think it was 1/2 a million!!. The latest link sent to me by lawyer was 16 pages long, reassuring me THIS is what they wanted in spite of phone calls to the contrary; half of the pages are legalese Ive needed to call and ask what it means & if I have to fill out those pages also. There is no Bankers Life agent listed within an hour of me. I wont go into how many calls Ive placed to their home company, each time reassuring me the check was being expedited, many months ago. On the third or fourth call I was told I wasnt the beneficiary (by a supervisor I asked for!!). She told me my husbands first wife, who was dead 21 years was the beneficiary!!!!! This is THEE worst company ever. Please, please stay away from them!! It is clear they prey on elderly, want their money to stay where it is. When my father died a few years ago, State Farm was in touch with my mother & I separately within 2 days & had the check to us in 2 weeks, in full!! Repeat: STAY AWAY!!

Bankers life is a complete scam! They take advantage of the elderly and the mentally ill. Their desperate entry-level sales team target vulnerable people that can not make wise decisions!

I cant reach my agent, will not return my call or set up an meeting with me. My Single Premium Deposit doesnt line up with the amount that it on the book in the office. I want an agents to go over with all my policies. Thank you!
