It is difficult to rate assisted living homes because each one fills a niche.  What makes a place bad is when they fail to deliver in the niche they are trying to fill and where others fail Hawthorn succeeds.We are familiar with someone who once lived here and their care was very good and perfect for what they needed.  Hawthorn really creates a home away from home for people who need that extra assistance.  If you are looking for a place for which Hawthorn is listed as a place that could fit your needs I would recommend you check them out.  The owner is excellent and really goes out of the way to care for the residents and the staff is always nice, friendly, helpful and don't ever seem hurried.
