Dear Jake:Yes, the property manager did make an appointment with your partner, two weeks in advance; she also indicated that she wouldn't be able to hold the unit and it may get rented before your appointment.Your appointment was at 10:00 a.m., and the application for the unit came in late the night before, after business hours; when the manager received the notification in the morning and by the time she was able to determine if it was a viable applicant, it was your appointment time. She feels very bad that you had driven so long; your partner had not mentioned the lengthy drive you'd be making, and the manager wishes she would have known.She was happy to show you the unit should the other application fell through; she understood, however, that you were not interested. This was an unfortunate set of circumstances regarding the timing of the application in conjunction with your appointment time, and we regret that.Should you still be interested in living in one of our communities, it would be our privilege to serve you.
