image Dr. Christian was amazing he was very caring and wanted to make sure he dotted all the "I" and crossed all the "T" before allowing me to leave ER. Still no answers of the scare as a traveler but nice to have a caring Dr. First set of nurses amazing but shift change happened while I was there and 2nd group not as caring. Overall great experience

image Great experience as a traveler experiencing scary symptoms. I was treated promptly, courteously, and thoroughly through the emergency department. I could not have expected such a good experience with my desperate google search on Rte 25 for the closest hospital.

image I had my child here. First time being a mom. Some of the nurses were very rude. While my stay in the hospital here after giving birth, the way one of the nurses handled my child was very, very, VERY upsetting. She was very rude with him and handled him like he was a rag doll. I don’t care how long you’ve worked here. I don’t care if you were in the military. Let’s just say I was not impressed at all. They forced me to breastfeed when my son wasn't eating at all. I kept telling the nurses that he wasn’t eating and he wasn’t latching at all. But because their opinion was that it was healthy for the baby, they wouldn’t let me bottle feed. Dr. Johnson finally saw at a check up how hungry he was and how stressed I was. She’s a very good doctor. I think you guys need to retrain or pay more attention to the nurses. Especially the OB nurses. The ones at night, too. I get they’re tired, but they’re handling babies. Next time this ever happens, I will push legal action.

image While traveling through Wheatland on I-90 my husband became ill and received care at Platte County's ED. Dr. Peasley's assessment and treatment was above and beyond any expectation one might have of any facility, let alone a smaller critical access hospital.
The woman in the billing department was one of the most pleasant people I've ever had the honor of speaking to over the phone. She was kind, efficient, and eager to assist us.
The pharmacist, Lyndie Gore, also deserves a major shout out. She was knowledgeable and went out of her way to make sure my husband had the best care possible until I could get to Wheatland from about 3 hours away.
Thanks Platte County for the phenominal care!
