I’ve met with David and Brittany numerous times, and they always fully answered every single one of my questions. The food at my wedding was amazing, and we received tons of compliments! They did a wonderful job! I highly recommend them!

Originally we did all of our planning with David, but when it came time for the wedding we were turned over to Brittany, who we had never met. We were not informed of any changes being made the day of the wedding. Most of the changes were related to COVID-19, but I still feel we should have been informed, especially about recipe changes. Even worse, one of our sides was not brought to the reception and when we reached out about it after the wedding, we were completely ignored. They in no way apologized or reimbursed us for their mistake.

Poor Communication and Poor Customer Service The low rating is associated with what we believe (based on our experience) to be poor customer service and questionable behavior when discussing availability dates. This review includes the accurate description of the good and negative interactions between us and the Creative Catering. My husband and I are planning our daughter’s wedding and we met with David on two occasions, discussed the date (which he said was open), fine-tuned the menu and various other selections and scheduled the tasting. We told him we secured the venue and the caterer was the next step in the process. He provided excellent recommendations and we were impressed by his willingness to help cut some of the potential costs, so we scheduled a tasting to include the bride and groom travelling from out of town. We considered this the final step and after the tasting we were going to pay the retainer fee. The tasting was scheduled for Tuesday however on Sunday night at 9:00 pm we received an email from him stating “I regret to inform you your date has been booked and is no longer available.†We understood the date was not secured until we signed the contract but had a verbal agreement. Additionally, we communicated and met with him on several occasions with the final meeting scheduled in two days with the expectation of finalizing the contract. Obviously, we were floored by his email (received at 9:00 pm on a Sunday) as he did not indicate our date was in jeopardy nor did he give us the opportunity to immediately pay the retainer. If he was unsure of our intentions he could have simply called and said I have a potential new customer interested in your date so either pay the retainer fee immediately or your date will be given to someone else. We would have gladly paid the fee and moved forward. At no time did David indicate that we were in jeopardy of losing the date during the meetings or the scheduling of the tasting. There was no phone call explaining the situation; which we feel would have been the professional thing to do. Instead, we receive a terse email in which he regrets to inform us he has taken another job. Again, he did not indicate our date was in jeopardy, so we were eagerly awaiting the tasting. I’m not sure why David dumped us but this is definitely not the customer service we expected. Instead, it is more akin to a peddler and carpetbagger who will speak to you one day but give your date away without a second thought. I truly believed he was going to do a good job, but this type of customer service is questionable. Creative Catering you have to do better and clearly communicate with the customer. On this occasion you failed to do so, and I find your method of informing the customer woefully inadequate and the polar opposite of actions exhibited by you during consultations. Today we are left in the lurch looking for another caterer however that is our problem and not Creative Catering. If you are considering Creative Catering, please go into the process with your eyes wide open. Also, remember, past performance is a good indicator of future behavior.
