Really need to do a review of your visitor policy. I understand that no nurse needs 8 family members running around a patients room getting in the way of their job duties. At the same time it shouldn't be a problem for a 71 year old great grandmother and a 55 year old grandpa with 50 year old fiance to see their twin grandbabies one at a time with mom or dad and be able to sit in patient room. That's three older adults in patient room. Why make one sit in lobby and wait. There are to many sick people walking in and out of the lobby and putting a 71 year old woman at risk of catching a sickness or the other older adults is unacceptable! I've sat here all morning and not once have these waiting area chairs been sanitized. We know who has been in our daughter's room and no one has been sick and that the room is being cleaned.

If a woman is experiencing a gynecological emergency, don't waste your time at this facility! My family member sat in the OB ER room for over 7 hours without being seen by a nurse or provider. She was sent to the ER by a HH main provider. I called the nurse's desk to inquire regarding the wait. I spoke with a provider named Nicole. I don't know if that was really her name. Nicole told me that she was aware of my family member being in the waiting for over 7 hours. OB are first and then Gynecological problems. I asked Nicole what, if my family member medical emergency while waiting in the waiting room. Nicole stated" We would have to triage her in the waiting room. I asked her if the unit was short staffed. She stated " No short bed and no clean rooms ". This is unacceptable! HH is supposed to be a level 1 trauma center. Short bed, no clean rooms, no communication with the patient and over 7 hours wait time. I guess gynecological problems is not an emergency!

I was admitted due to preeclampsia and we needed to induce early. I cannot get over the kindness, helpfulness, professionalism, and excellency of every nurse we encountered. As first time parents in a high stress situation, the nurses were incredibly compassionate. They seemed to anticipate our concerns and our needs to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. I honestly cannot say enough about the angels we had watching over us. Ivy, Abigail, and Ashley took especially good care of us, making sure we understood what was going on and next steps, but there are so many others who were just incredible. I feel so blessed to have been provided such amazing care.

The experience at the hospital was great, however the "cafeteria" was another thing all together. They close at 2, not open on weekends. I was able to get there at 1:45 and they refused to cook a burger because they were "out". As i watched the staff member cleaning their grill. I could select from the steam table that had the saddest assortment of old food and that was all available. They turned away at least five others before 2pm. The staff was not terrible helpful, only informing me to call the patient line for food instead. Plese close when your posted time says so and not before. Just terrible, do better hospital.
