Holiday Inn Huntsville Downtown

I stayed here while I visited Marshall Space Center. I took my dog with me and having the park across the street was great to walk him in.The art museum is a 1 block walk. The crew was very nice and polite and helpful (all 3 shifts)! Will definitly stay there again if I go back.

Great hotel. Elvis stayed here back in the 60's.

The floor in my room was uneven, leaving a gap under the door, and the floor was uneven out into the hall, and halfway down to the elevators. There was trash behing the dresser- a shopping bag and paperwork from a previous guest, and somebody's hair clip under the bed. The "high-speed" internet was slow when it worked. It seemed to work for about 30 seconds, then not work for 10 seconds, the whole time I stayed here. I have coworkers that swear by this place, but I won't stay here ever again. While looking for an electrical outlet for my laptop, I bumped into the headboard on one of the beds in my room. It wasn't attached to the bed. It was hanging on a bracket screwed into the wall. When I bumped it, the headboard fell off the bracket as the screws holding the bracket to the drywall fell out of the wall. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place unless there is absolutely no other option.
