I have had AllState through Craig Wiggins since 2009 and recently it switched to Bo Cochran. We have been pretty fortunate in not needing insurance but insurance is for disasters that you don't expect. We needed a new roof due to damage from a recent storm and a few friends told me how difficult AllState was to deal with for a new roof and this had me nervous initially. Then the claims specialist contacted me and the adjuster contacted me. I dealt with them and my contractor I selected and kept him in the loop. He had been in the roofing business for 20 years and had never witnessed such a smooth and easy transaction. They promptly came out, promptly got me a quote with no undercutting, and promptly paid for the roof. I don't know if they've improved their roof replacement recently or what but Allstate was top notch in every aspect and they retained a customer for life due to their handling of a situation being as smooth as it was. I have had some not at fault accidents they had to cover due to the other driver being uninsured and all those were smooth as well.
