While the dentist himself is very nice and does well with the kids there has to be a full picture of good business. This establishment has been the only dentist to repeatedly send bills that are way past the date and quite frankly bills for things I have NEVER been billed for. Instead of being responsive to calls and voicemails, you get radio silence. Since this isnt a one off, I say be careful who you choose because while the visit can be nice, the nuisance after isnt worth it.

My kids are very comfortable with Dr. Curtis and the hygienists. I appreciate that they both take the time to make conversation and relate to my kids.

Took my five children, the office was clean but the staff were very cliquish and not so friendly. They gave weird looks to each other about my bilingual children then - the doctor tells my 17 yr old she needs to have her wisdom teeth removed. They arent bothering her and she feels fine. He says nope they need to be removed. She asked him about recovery and etc; then told him she was in college and couldnt take off a week just randomly. She would prefer to schedule it when she had a break or etc - unless it began to bother her. He then says I think you should see someone else if you arent going to listen to my opinions ?!?! Youre a dentist - not a judge, jury, and prison warden. If she didnt want to schedule it at that time and theres no pain/harm - who cares? The way he treated her made me move all my kids obviously. If youre so hard up for a referrals you would dismiss a patient for not just doing as you say - this antiquated practice is just not where we want to be :( its an opinion - we arent required to do as you say under threat of dismissal. They provide a service - they are not in fact in control of anyones dental choices. Patients still have rights

I used to like this office but when the dentist wouldn't give us information on fixing a front tooth issue and a cavity for my daughter, I didn't have a comfortbale feeling any longer. My daughter has been seen at this office for about 2 years now and has never had an Xray done and only had one cleaning. I requested to cancel her next appointment and was going to seek a second opinion. Something doesn't sit right when leaving a cavity in a toddler's mouth for months. When I attempted to return so I could speak to the dentist, I was informed by very rude Shante' that my daughter's chart was inactive due to me wanting to go to another dentist. She also informed me that she could contact her "building owner, the one who signs her paychecks" if we could return. From that moment, I found my daughter a new dentist. When I came back to leave a review, it's funny Shante' sent a dismissal letter. Very unprofessional office staff.

Dr. Kennon is a miracle worker! My son is severely autistic, 10rs old, and 110lbs. He is large and strong enough now that I cannot physically carry him, so he must be coaxed into situations.
My son had an extremely fearful reaction to the equipment he saw in one room and ran for the lobby, where he physically and mentally shut down. Dr. Kennon came out, talked with him, calmed him, explained what the room was like/that it had bubbles and fish and invited my son to come see. It worked! Then he proceeded to give him PLENTY of time and space to observe all of the equipment, taking time to explain everything before acting.
Were it not for Dr. Kennon's patience, kindness, and ability to connect to autistic individuals on their level my son would not have dental care. We appreciate this office so much!
